What do I get with GearBuddy Plus?
As your business grows, Plus gives you unlimited shoots and rigs, paid rentals and crew invitations. Only the person creating the shoot needs Plus — everyone they invite can join for free. Your subscription also helps us keep GearBuddy's most important features free for everyone.
Does GearBuddy work offline?
Yes. Your gear, shoots and rentals stay available without a connection. GearBuddy syncs your changes automatically when you are back online.
Can I share my gear with my crew?
Yes. Open Settings in the top right and choose Friends. From there, you decide for each person whether they can view or edit your gear — and what stays private. You can also send friends a request to see their gear.
How do subscriptions work?
Apple handles Plus subscriptions, cancellations and refunds. You can manage your subscription at any time from your profile in the app.
Can I deduct my Plus subscription from my taxes?
If you use GearBuddy for work, your Plus subscription may be deductible as a business expense depending on your country and situation. Apple provides your receipt: sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com. It is usually available within 24–48 hours of purchase. If you are unsure, check with your tax adviser.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely on EU servers in Ireland. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings in the app.
